SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST
The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Galveston, a leading academic health sciences center located on the Texas Gulf Coast, is searching for a highly motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join the Budget and Planning division of our Finance Department. The Senior Financial Analyst will assist Finance Associate Director with special projects and ad hoc reporting and serve as backup on an as-needed basis. Specific duties include analysis of business operations and ensuring continuous process improvement by identifying system and work process improvements. This position will lead and participate in the development of system improvements including accurate implementation of new functionality and/or upgrades to Hyperion suite of applications and the development of annual Institutional Capital Budget, UT System Budget, or Institutional Budget.
Requirements
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field and five years related accounting experience. The preferred candidate will have experience with fund accounting and strong knowledge of Hyperion applications.
